Sažetak
Rescue excavations of 2009-2013. in ancient Faros, on the site of Remete vrt, revealed the oldest layers that contained material both from the pre-greek and greek period. The question of interpretation of formation of this part of stratigraphic sequence has been raised, challenging recently published theories regarding the history and the earliest occupation phases of the site.
