Sažetak
During the aircraft exploitation, damage can occur on the aircraft windows. To remove the damage, the windows are ground and polished causing reduction in the wall thickness. The remaining window wall thickness can be determined using ultrasonic thickness measurement methods. This paper presents the findings of the study conducted to determine the impact of certain ultrasonic probe parameters on the results of sample measurements. The findings of the study confirmed a significant impact of all the parameters on the accuracy of the measurement results. Based on the obtained results, the ultrasonic thickness measurement was carried out on the aircraft windows.
