Sažetak
In the scope of this work, petrographical and geochemical analyses of sedimentary clastic rocks from St. Barbara copper and iron mine in Rude near Samobor, Samoborska gora Mt. have been made. The main goal is to a) properly classify, b) determine origin and paleo-environment of clastic rocks, and c) determine influence of hydrothermal fluid on rock properties. Results have shown that there is a structural and geochemical variability, and also uneven intensity of hydrothermal alteration in the samples. Based on petrographical analysis, samples are classified as sublithoarenite, quartz arenite and quartz greywacke. Three samples are classified as ore breccia, ore sandstone and ore silt-sandstone. Geochemical analysis indicates that these clastic rocks have a felsic parent rock, most probably sedimentary rock, possibly reworked and redeposited more than once. Weathering of parent rock has been intensive (CIA: 68, 6-81, 3), and most probably sedimentary basin was geotectonically positionated on the passive margin.
