Sažetak
In the paper the authors present the results of a pilot-study in the research field of communication and the relationships between teachers and students in higher education. On every institution of higher education, a working climate has been created that includes students as well as teachers. The purpose of this pilot-study was to explore the attitudes and thinking of the respondents in relation to communication, the role of lectures and the relationships between teachers and students. The sample was represented by 176 students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula. The results show that the vast majority of respondents estimated that the relationship between teachers and students is positive, that the communication is appropriate and that in most cases the lectures are carried out in a constructive, positive atmosphere and to the satisfaction of students.
