Sažetak
According to the Gospel, “no man putteth new wine into old bottles” or, more extensive, “no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined” (Matthew 9:14-17, Mark 2:21-22, Luke 5:33-39). Does it mean that only a new content should fit into the new media? Should we suppose that the essence of the new media, technologically progressive, necessarily contradict any socially regressive message (since “the medium is a message”)? Why definitely backward messages (e. g. from “Daish”) penetrate so easy to the collective imaginary when effused by the new media? And which media content should be regarded as a new one? Are the new media fully adequate (or even sufficient) for the spreading of some new content (social, political, cultural and so forth)? Or they need a synergy with industrial media (like the press, the television etc.) to be successful in reaching the target? Author points those topics (not devoid of an ethical background) without ambition to provide definite answers.
