Sažetak
The paper provides an analysis of the relationship between financial burdens of civil justice in Southeast European judicial systems and the right of access to justice in the countries in the region. Furthermore, the current law on attorneys’ fees and legal aid of the Southeast European countries shall be discussed, with emphasis on Croatia as a young member state of the European Union and other successor countries of the former Yugoslavia. Finally, the author will give concluding remarks.
