Sažetak
The conecept of urban redevlopmetn of Osijek is radically changed because of new geopolitical and economic situation and negative demographic processes. The new concept of urban redevlopment is based on redevlopment of built structure and on the principles and goals of ecological planning and environment protection. The reconstruction of areas along the river would greatly improve city image. It is necessary to retain recognaziable sihouette of town center keeping it relatively low with few prominent points.
