Sažetak
Soil nutrient availability (determined by extraction) should be compared with plant nutrient uptake, but such information is scarce for olives. Similarly, there is little information regarding a relationship among total soil nutrients, available fractions and plant uptake as a basis for tracing geographic origins of olive oil. Olives grown on Terra rossa soils along the Adriatic coast had sufficient leaf nutrients concentrations, which contributed to the correlations between plant- available nutrients in soil and leaf nutrient concentrations being mostly non-significant. High leaf Cu concentrations (above toxicity thresholds) can be result of intensive fungicide applications at some locations.
