Sažetak
Roadworthiness is very important for functioning of transport requests, it influences on level of safety and ecology in the traffic system. Technical correct road freight vehicles, as other vehicles too, are more reliable in the whole time of its exploitation. Lose of functionality caused by aging of fleet can not be avoided, but with frequent roadworthy inspections and examinations it can reduce expenses through whole period of exploitation. There are various factors which can influence on roadworthiness and they are explained in this work, but the most important influence is the roadworhthiness on exploitation of road freight vehicles. The condition of roadworthy correct and uncorrect number of vehicles established in roadworthy stations in Croatia is shown in data below for period from 2012 until 2015. That data show how much is roadworthines substantional for a road freight fleet. TÜV report for 2015. shows the amount of malfunctions for the most popular world manufacturers of road freight vehicles.
