Sažetak
The primary goal of the emergency physician is to determine which patients are exhibiting symptoms of target-organ dysfunction and require immediate intravenous parenteral therapy. Such patients require complex drug therapy and additional secondary workup by hypertension specialist. There has been a lack of clinical trial data specific to the management of patients with HE and clinicians have had little evidence-based guidance as to the optimal agent for BP control.
