Sažetak
The paper analyses the impact of energy storage and electric vehicles to the flexibility of electric power system in terms of securing reserves for covering deviations between consumption and generation of electricity, taking into account the share of non- predictable renewable sources in the network. Over the last few years, the share of renewable sources has increased, and wind power contributes close to 4% to the global electricity demand. Therefore the necessity for making analyses and for decreasing their negative influence to the electric power system, since with renewable energy sources the insecurity is transferred from demand side to generation side, hence creating additional costs and instability of electric power system.
