Sažetak
The work is based on content analysis of opinions concerning the 2014 EP election published in Jutarnji list and Večernje list. Research showed that the supranational EU elections were only of minor interest to the authors of columnists. The EP was intriguing only to the extent to which the authors could use it as a reason to criticize the work of Prime Minister, the Government and the ruling party.
