Sažetak
In recent years, 3rd generation sequencing technologies have matured and are slowly replacing NGS for DNA sequencing. Since long read length is very important for RNA sequencing and most RNA mapping tools are still designed to work with short and accurate NGS reads, the application of 3rd generation technologies to RNA sequencing is still rare. In this paper we present a simple modification to a known DNA alignment tool designed for 3rd generation sequencing data that enables it to be used for RNA mapping. The results achieved surpass other available tools.
