Sažetak
Definition of quality of life as well as the general welfare by means of objective factors as well as personal subjective evaluation of the emotional, physical, material, social status, assessment of personal development, and evaluation of the appropriateness of activities. Subjective experience of satisfaction plays an important role in our functioning. Satisfaction, demands and stress resulting from the experience of dissatisfaction with their environment or themselves thus affecting personal development and relationships with other people.This research is based on a survey of satisfaction and identify some relevant dimensions of quality of life of children and young people in institutional re-socialization treatment. The research is carried out over two time periods. The first phase of the survey was carried out in 2013 on a sample of 30 children and young users of the Mali Lošinj Home Education, which represented the entire population of the home. The results of the research in the first time show the satisfaction of the respondents with the conditions for uninterrupted learning, Opportunities to trust with educators, satisfaction with the attitude of the educator towards the users, as well as other aspects of life in the home Education. Particular difficulties for the respondents are separation from the family and dissatisfaction with the quality of nutrition as well as hygienic living conditions. The results of the research can not be generalized but certainly contribute to possibilities of improving the quality of life for residents of the House in which the research was conducted. The results of the knowledge implementation that this research was planned to examine and compare with the previous situation during 2017/2018 which would have to be a sufficient period of time for more significant organizational and other kinds of improvements to the lives of children in the home Education. The research results raise a number of questions and the need comparative analysis of the quality of life of children and young people in reformatories at the state level.
