Sažetak
In 1997, started protective archaeological work and conservation works on the northern walls of Salona, the capital of the Roman province in Dalmatia. Fotogramertic images, geodetic measurement and geophysical researches were made in order to create the database with all the information about the archaeological site. Geoohysical investigations for archeological purpose have produced a series of usefull information for cultural heritage from construction intervention. The most effective strategy for geophysical prospecting is selected on the basis of the evaluated "contrast" of particular physical parameters, a type of archaeological remain, the noise from the surroundings, the surface condition, as well as the geological, pedological or modern urban composition of the terrain.
