Sažetak
The significant difference in motor and functional abilities was determined between the groups of urban and rural male population. The balance, tapping and aerobic capacity contributed the most to the discrimination of the groups. Unfortunately, the engagement in sports-recreational activities was poor in both groups and not significantly different. As the participation in sports recreational activities was equal in both groups, the differences might originate from higher physical activity level at workplace and during leisure time that was confirmed in habitual physical activity survey. Obtained physical fitness parameter, especially aerobic capacity, are unsatisfactory for the male population of the age 35-45.
