Sažetak
Purpose of this study was to compare the results of body temperature obtained by classic mercury in glass thermomethers measured axillary with the results obtained by infrared tympanic and forehead skin thermometry in afebrile children. This study has shown that temperature measured axillary with classic mercury in glass thermometer has the least dispersion thereby making it the most reliable method for body temperature measurement. A bit less unreliable method is frontal measurement by infrared thermometer. The least reliable method is tympanic temperature.
