Sažetak
We studied the mutual benefit of geese and fish raising in a common habitat, pond. Birds that live in or very near water in aquatic or wetland habitats, live in a symbiotic relationship with the fish, whereby a cycle is closed when bird droppings enhances the development of the zoo and phyto plankton and thus provides the basis for fish nutrition. Also, feed in the floor keeping of geese is lost in bedding material, but on the contrary feed in pond keeping falls into the water and serve as fish feed. Floor keeping of animals burdens manufacturer with a large production of bedding material, resulting in higher costs of technological process for manure removal and disinfection. Besides cost, bedding material and disinfection pollute the environment, which in technological process in this study is completely negligible. The paper describes the technology of geese raising on the fish ponds. The results showed that the mortality of goslings is negligible, only 1.5 % in the first phase of warm breeding. Final weight of geese is on average 5.37 kg of body mass. One year old carp were received in 100 g of weight and during the production cycle weight has grown at 250 g without additional feeding.
