Sažetak
Number of users of online social network among the active participants in the transport system is constantly increasing. Smart mobile phones and the adoption of these services for use on mobile phones create a platform for collecting and distributing information about the current conditions in the transport system among the users. Social networks like Twitter and Facebook enables users to share instant traffic information which are determined with geographic location collected using GNSS- positioning or via network technologies. Specialized open source platforms may be used for integration of collected information and data presentation on an interactive map in terms of traffic information service. The idea of the article is to inaugurate the idea of using systematized information from social networks and with the aim of generating a service that will collect traffic data from participants in traffic system, with the purpose of creating image of real time traffic flow status with additional information within the transport system. The research will also define the credibility model for users which will participate, and then the type of information which will be sent to formed information as well as criteria for determining the model of duration of information depending on the type of incident. The end result of the article shall be the analysis of available services and applications that can be used for trip and pre trip information sharing among participant in the transport system and will present a model of traffic information system with a defined process for collecting, storage, presentation and distribution of data.
