Sažetak
Today, the success of a large number of organizations in the EU and in the world depends on effective governance of IT. Existing research suggests that for achieving outcomes based on IT, it is necessary to clearly articulate and implement the structures, processes, and relation mechanisms. These mechanisms are covered by the IT Governance. Each organization has and implements some form of IT Governance mechanism. To get a complete picture of the mechanisms, it is essential to understand their elements. The aim of this paper, referring to current scientific literature, is to describe IT Governance mechanism in organizations from private and public sectors. Authors suggest that the EU economic environment (private and public sector organizations) in post-crisis period should include ITG mechanisms such as structure, processes and relational mechanisms.
