Sažetak
In this study, we have acquired insights about the activities of members of the Facebook heritage group "Zagreb kakav je bio nekada", that support the creation of image collection about old Zagreb and the creation of the user community around this collection. We have also used a method of historical and content analysis to acquire insights about the relationships between characteristics of images published in this group and activities of its members. Based on findings from this research, we created recommendations for creators of digital libraries which could support them to plan and build better participative digital libraries and their user communities. We hope that insights obtained by this research, as well as the novel methodological approach used in this study, will be valuable as a foundation for further research.
