Sažetak
Impulsive expansion of coronal mass ejections frequently results in the formation of global MHD wave in the solar corona. Such a large-amplitude disturbance is often observed as a EUV coronal wave and chromospheric Moreton wave. We present results of numerical simulations linking the low-coronal signatures of the wave with its chromospheric counterpart. The coronal wave is created by an explosive eruption of the coronal arcade that is anchored in the chromosphere/photosphere. Results of simulations are quantitatively analyzed and confronted with the observations, as well as with results of a simple analytical modeling. It is shown that the lateral expansion of the arcade is viable of creating the coronal wave, having characteristics that are fully consistent with the observations.
