Sažetak
The paper offers a fundamental overview of the theory relating to overdetermined systems of linear equations. Relying on the theory of projections, we examine the nature of the set of optimal solutions of the given overdetermined system. The paper also provides a brief functional approach to the above problem by utilizing p-norms.
