Sažetak
In this lecture I consider the relationship of world and self, as represented in the philosophy of Schelling, Plotinus, and in relationship to the problem of dementia. World as a philosophical problem is highly relevant for understanding the relationship of embodiment and selfhood, in particular, with regard to dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment, as well as to the philosophy of dementia. Through an understanding of the analogy of aesthesis and noesis, perception and higher level intelligence provides new possibilites
