Sažetak
The first discovery of the Asian tiger mosquito Aedes albopictus in Osijek-Baranja county was recorded in August, 2103 in the area of Tenja (suburb of Osijek). Since then, this species is spreading intensively, occupying new areas. For research purposes of a tiger mosquito in the city of Osijek and the surrounding area during 2015, we used methods of oviposition and BG sentinel traps. Oviposition traps were set from July to november with the eggs of this species recorded from July to October. BG sentinel traps also confirmed tiger mosquito activity in the mentioned period. During the season 2015 Ae. albopictus was recorded in the suburb Čepin (as in 2014) and in Osijek (suburbs Brijest and Industrial zone). The expansion has so far been confirmed only in the suburb Čepin.
