Sažetak
The topic of this presentation will be the Jewish refugees from territories under the control of the Third Reich (or those fleeing in advance of the danger perceived) passing through Yugoslavia on its way toward the safe heaven, as well as Yugoslav Jewish refugees fleeing Yugoslavia in anticipation of the same fate Jews would experience in Yugoslavia. The author will confine my presentation on Croatian territory and the focus will be on Jewish self-help and great efforts of Jewish humanitarian organizations during this crisis from 1933 until September 1943.
