Sažetak
The main object of the study was the influence of constructional design on prevention of health for the older population in nursing centers and homes for the elderly. The comparing analysis of Czech and Croatian nursing centers was conducted in period from April to September 2016. The main object of the conducted research was to affirm the necessity and importance of the quality of the used furniture through the opinions of everyday users of nursing centers in Croatia. The research was conducted through questionnaires, interviews, observing and photography. The research results helped in defining the specific requirements and criteria for quality standards for furniture in use.
