Sažetak
The collapse of the communist system did not lead to major changes in research and teaching personal by itself. However, many new public in the field of academic research and higher educationl have been established in the last decade. To a great extent the social sciences have adapted well to the new situation. Many political, economic, cultural, ethnic and war aspects of the transitional society have been taken into account by sociologists, political scientists, economists and other social scientists.
