Sažetak
Public Utility ”Elektroprivreda of Croatian Community Herceg Bosnia” from Mostar is the electricity utility serving the area of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently its generation capacity, based on hydro power, is only sufficient to cover about one third of the electricity demand in the area supplied by EPHZHB. In an effort to expanding and diversifying its generation capacity while adhering to its good environmental records, EPHZHB, with the support of international consultants, is currently exploring a number of sites presenting promising wind potential. Out of the several sites originally examined, 3 were selected for more detailed measurements and construction of wind farms: Mesihovina, Velika Vlajna and Borova glava. The present document comprises Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) concerning the development and operation of a wind farm Mesihovina. The purpose of the SEP is to determine the people or communities that could be affected by the project, and to ensure that stakeholders are properly engaged in the management of the environmental and social factors of the Project and to maintain a constructive relationship with stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Hence, this plan identifies the required framework for that consultation process, including the identification of stakeholders, consultation methods and their grievance mechanisms. The goal is to ensure the timely provision of relevant and understandable information and to create a process that provides opportunities for all stakeholders to express their views and concerns, and allows the investor to consider and respond to them in the phases of the project preparation and implementation.
