Sažetak
Public Utility ”Elektroprivreda of Croatian Community Herceg Bosnia” from Mostar is the electricity utility serving the area of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently its generation capacity, based on hydro power, is only sufficient to cover about one third of the electricity demand in the area supplied by EPHZHB. In an effort to expanding and diversifying its generation capacity while adhering to its good environmental records, EPHZHB, with the support of international consultants, is currently exploring a number of sites presenting promising wind potential. Out of the several sites originally examined, 3 were selected for more detailed measurements and construction of wind farms: Mesihovina, Velika Vlajna and Borova glava. The present document comprises the Environmental, Health, Safety, Management and Monitoring Plan concerning the development and operation of a wind farm Mesihovina.
