Sažetak
Analysis how different training protocols including aerobic and strenght training influence morphologic characteristics without nutrition changes was the aim of this case report. Male age 42, height 180cm, weight 79, 6kg, smokes 8-15 cigarettes during 26 years, moderately drinks alcohol, recreational athlete. During five months, in cycles of 50 days, the examinee was subdued to different training forms which included aerobic and strenght training. Changes in morphologic characteristic were measured using BIA, on GAIA 359 device, 7 days apart, total of 22 measurements. Changes in variables of morphologic characteristic were presented using percentage difference between inital and final measurement. Body mass (-1.3/1, 63%), percent body fat – PBF (-8%/38, 8%), mass body fat – MBF (-6, 5kg/39, 6%), lean body mass – LBF (+6, 5kg/8, 2%), difference waist to hip ratio – WHR (-0, 1/10, 99%). Results point to the efficacy of aerobic and strenght training combination to reduce fat tissue and increase muscle mass in middle aged men without nutrition changes. Further research is needed in order to gain more precise data
