Sažetak
This paper presents the dynamic testing and analyses performed on the Pag Bridge prior to and after the rehabilitation. Environmental factors and aircraft missiles caused extensive damages to the original bridge structure. In addition, inadequate design of the bearing system and poor maintenance led to its premature deterioration. In 1999 the bridge superstructure was replaced, columns retrofitted, new cap-beams erected and new pot bearings installed. Evaluation of the reliability of the support elements and the overall structure before and after the rehabilitation is based on the performed dynamic analyses. Special attention is given to the compression-tension bearings installed on the bridge and the influence of dynamic loading on their structural condition.
