Sažetak
The research is focused on the outcrop of the copper-pyrite mineralisation, registered along the main road on the Medvednica Mt., near the resthouse Kraljičin Zdenac. The mineralisation shows similar characteristics to the ore deposits in the Trgovska Gora, Petrova Gora and Ljubija. The position of the outcrop above a water table, enabled oxidising supergene processes which created number of secondary minerals. The detailed investigation of the mineral paragenesis accomplished general metallogenic framework of the Medvednica metamorphic complex, which still have inherited lack of age determination of the precoursor. Similar registered and unregistered occurences on the Medvednica Mt. may offer explanation for the heavy metal anomalies in environmental studies.
