Sažetak
An Anton-Paar 4500M densimeter was used to measure the density for aqueous and for methanol solutions of 1-methylimidazolium chloride and 1, 2-dimethylimidazolium chloride in the temperature range (5 – 30C) in steps of 5C covering the concentration range of investigated ionic liquids (about 0.005 – about 0.1 mol dm–3). The experimental data were used to calculate the apparent molar volumes, the partial molar volumes, the cubic expansion coefficients, and the changes of isobaric heat capacities with respect to pressure. Finally, these data are qualitatively correlated with changes in the structure of investigated solvents when (1-MImCl) or (1, 2-dMImCl) ionic liquids are present.
