Sažetak
The authors deal with the collective memory of socialism expressed through the commemorative Day of Youth celebration in Kumrovec, the birth village of the former Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito. Based on the results of ethnographic fieldwork, they analyse what happens to the place, once declared the central topos of socialist ideology, in postsocialist Croatia, within a new ideological framework.
