Sažetak
Laser ablation of metals in liquids is known as ‘green’ synthesis method of nanoparticles since no chemicals and byproducts are involved in a process. In addition there is no need to further purification. Moreover, determination of concentration of so synthesized nanoparticles requires additional measurements with different equipment (DLS, ellipsometry, UV-VIS spectrophotometry, etc.). Here is presented a method to determine (exact) colloid nanoparticle concentration based on measuring craters after ablation, NP size-distribution and extinction curves. Nanoparticles of Ag were synthesized using ns laser (100mJ, 5Hz, 1064nm, 5ns) upon laser ablation of Au bulk target immersed in water.
