Sažetak
Evaluation of the inclination of the occlusal plane and its orientation during the mounting of casts into the ; articulator space represents a cruical problem in prosthetic dentistry. Positioning the artificial occlusal plane should be as possible to the position which had been previously occupied by the occlusal plane of the natural teeth. Positioning the occlusal plane and inclination of teeth are individual charasretistics and they are closely connected to the function of the masticatory sistem. This study examined the reliability of basic referent1 parameters, such as values applied for mounting the cast. On a sample of 61 examined cephalograms with almost normal occlusion and 46 examined cephalograms of random sample five variables were analyzed: Occiusal line - mandibular line angle (OL-ML), occlusal line- Frankfort horizontal iine angle (OL-FH), occiusal line -• palatal line angle (OL -PL), occlusal line - Camper s line angle (OL- CP) and occlusal iine - nasion -selia iine angle (OL-NS). The roentgenocephalometric method has been applied, variables have been treated by the application of basic statistical parameters and correlation analysis. The results of this study revealed the mean values of angles measured and their variability as well as their mutual correlation. The highest level of variability has been found in bouth groups at the G1-O1 angle, which demonstrated theunreliability of the evaluation method used for the inclination of occlusal plane towards Camper s line.determination
