Sažetak
Discourse in the commemorations (political speeches, political ritual and media coverage). Recreates the affective experience of the traumatic events, engaging emotions of the participants in the commemoration. Facilitates the conceptualization of the national identity enabeling the categorization of the in-/out- groups, socio-political entitles based on certain features. Frames the narration(s) of a collective identity / nation in an such a way to produce cultural models and motivate appropriate action. Represents the narration(s) and conceptualization(s) in various multimodal forms as to reinforce cognitive entrenchment and cultural memory.
