Sažetak
The purpose of this article is to present the procedure of determining the positional accuracy and aesthetics as data quality elements on Croatian Topographic Map in scale 1:25000 (TM25). State geodetic administration has entrusted the production of sheets of TM25 to private companies, and the quality control to Croatian Geodetic Institute from 2002 to 2010. All remarks are concerned to the general geographic objects. Data quality measures, which are recognized and processed indirectly, related to the positional accuracy and aesthetics are recognized in remarks for relief presentation. The presence of data quality elements is registered in accordance with ISO. Small remarks are hardly noticeable for the ordinary user. Questionnaire is proposed in order to obtain larger images about user's needs and satisfaction with external quality. An impact on future maps production also discussed in this paper. Data quality measures applied to estimate positional accuracy and aesthetics are also given, all supported by illustrations.
