Sažetak
The viscosities of aqueous solutions of 1, 3-dimethylimidazolium chloride and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride were measured in the temperature range (5 – 40C) in steps of 5C covering the concentration range of investigated ionic liquids, ILs (0.005 – 0.1 mol dm–3). The relative viscosity data have been analyzed using Jones-Dole equation and the derived parameters as viscosity B-coefficient and A-coefficient have been interpreted in terms of solute-solvent and solute-solute interaction, respectively. The viscosity A-coefficients were also calculated from Falkenhagen and Vernon theory by help of the literature limiting ionic conductivity data, and compared with the experimental values. The structure making or structure breaking capacity of this ILs investigated here will be discussed.
