Sažetak
Abstract: A number of biochemical and medical researches detected increased activity of tyrosinase in the skin tumor cells.The most famous and available inhibitor kojic acid has a lot of side effects and is not completely safe for use. Objectives: In this paper is described the study of inhibitory influence of halogen boroxine K2[B303F4OH] on tyrosinase. It was encouraged by the ability of compound mentioned above to inhibit enzymes by metal ion chelation and its easy synthesis and formulation to cosmetic products applicable to the skin without serious side effects. Method: Tyrosinase activity was measured by spectrophotometric analysis of the appearance of dopachrome pigment at a wavelength of 475 nm.Tyrosinase exhibits typical Michaelis-Menten kinetics. Results: Tests of the proposed inhibition of the enzyme tyrosinase showed that K2[B3O3F4OH] has weak inhibitory properties. Conclusion: It will be neccesser to search for new ways of antitumor mechanism different from according previous results obvious one.
