Sažetak
The paper deals with the harmonization of the civil pilot and air traffic control training syllabus at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering with the international aviation requirements defined by the world's leading civil organizations JAA and EUROCONTROL. According to the Croatian request for full JAA membership, and according to the fact that the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering is the only legitimate Flight Training Organization, the civil pilot training syllabus at the Faculty must be revised and the joint aviation requirements implemented. Likewise, according to the fact that Croatia is a full member of EUROCONTROL and that there is a high possibility that the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering will become the only legitimate ATC training institution, the ATC training syllabus at the Faculty needs to be revised and EUROCONTROL requirements and standards implemented.
