Sažetak
This paper presents a conceptual model for the development of educational leaders by means of e-learning, including its preliminary empirical verification, based on the case study method. The model is based on the extensive previous research of best educational and management practices in e-learning, with the special emphasis on the constructivist educational approach and the freely available tools, such as the Moodle open-source learning platform. The results of preliminary empirical verification present the best practices of several case studies, in which the model was found as both useful and effective for the development of educational leadership (both in schools and the institutions of higher education). By using the qualitative research methods, some generalizations are proposed, along with the tasks to be addressed by the future inter-disciplinary research.
