Sažetak
Piece of furniture is never built from one element, always there are few elements because of that joint are very important for final product. For joints very important parameter is strength, it provide safeness for users. The paper presents the current knowledge regarding the word’s research on the structural composition and their strength. Start the exploration is carried out on samples made of MDF plane 18 mm thick. The samples were of dimensions 100 x 100 x 100 mm, made of two elements. To create a composition using beech dowels, wood biscuits, bolts with turning pin and “tofix” connectors were used. Research results have been statistically analyzed and to continue serving as an indicator of the impact of dowel, wood biscuit, bolts with turning pin and “tofix” connectors on the joint strength.
