Sažetak
The paper reports on the research results of the international research project "Strategic communication management: general business communication problems", related to the study conducted in Croatia from 20th of February 2012 to 20th of September 2013 on a representative sample of 110 respondents. This paper examined the attitudes of Croatian business communicators in the twenty Croatian towns with their associated local environment (Zagreb, Pazin, Rijeka, Karlovac, Sisak, Krapina, Varazdin, Cakovec, Koprivnica, Bjelovar, Virovitica, Pozega, Slavonski Brod, Osijek, Vukovar, Gospic, Zadar, Sibenik, Split and Dubrovnik). The survey has detected 20 fundamental relations to: communication, business, creativity, discovery and presentation of business information, detecting logical information, the design of business information, linguistic competence, structure of business messages, media, new media, media content, communication (IT) technologies, Internet and social networks. Research results have provided answers and knowledge about basic communicational assumptions underlying any successful business communication in order to achieve successful communication quality at all levels of the global, regional, national and local business communication.
