Sažetak
We present some new results on expectation and threshold problem for contiguous and gapped Q-grams. We also introduce a novel exhaustive search algorithm for determining the threshold, based on (sparse) matrix formulation of the problem. Computational results obtained with this algorithm show that the Q-gram filter has same threshold in the case of Hamming and Levenshtein errors given that the number of errors is sufficiently small.
