Sažetak
In this paper a design solution for the sign gantry following the EN12767 norm is presented. The most influental parameter for structural design is shown to be the wind loading. Calculations were made according to “Eurocode 1” [1] and “Sign structures guide” [2] which are compliant to European norms. Wind loads, sign loads and weight of construction were simulated in ADINA software to obtain stresses and deflections of the structure and choose the adequate lattice cross-section dimensions. The structure was designed for highways and “NE” energy absorbing class according to EN 12767.
