Sažetak
The influence of the overlap length in core joints and of the quality of the core assembly on noise levels, and the repeatability of noise measurements, have been investigated by means of a single-phase model. It has been found that the noise level increases with increasing overlap length, and that imperfections of the core assembly have a significant influence on the noise level.
