There is equal presentation of the architecture of all periods – from the Middle Ages to the most recent buildings. The book is an affirmation of the diversity of architectural types as well as of the wish to include the maximum possible number of worthwhile architects. As well as landmarks from the city centre, there are more recent and indeed entirely peripheral parts of the town.
