Sažetak
Some new polycyclic heterocyclic compounds of the quinolone type shown on Figure 1 were prepared by multistep synthesis [1]. Common feature of all the compounds synthesized is that they have at least one N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl] group which is present in number of substances possessing antiviral activity [2]. R R’ -H -(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -COOCH3 -(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -CONH(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -CONHC6H5 -(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -CONH(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -H -CON(C6H5)(CH2)3N(CH3)2 -H Figure 1. Structure of thieno[3’, 2’:4, 5]thieno[2, 3-c]quinolin-6-ones The reaction of photocyclization of anilides, acylation of amines with carboxylic chlorides and esters and N-alkylation of amides were used as a final step in the synthesis of corresponding quinolone derivatives. Prepared quinolones were tested on antitumor activity and showed very intensive action “in vitro” on some human carcinoma [3]. Testing “in vivo” is in course.
